Lake of the Woods operates with a paid staff headed by the General Manager, and a system of advisory committees composed exclusively of unpaid volunteer members of the Association. More than 100 members are so engaged and many serve on more than one committee.

All amenities, or cost centers, are managed by a Cost Center Manager who reports directly to the Office of the General Manager. The Cost Centers are: Golf, Golf Maintenance, Equestrian, Campground, Roads and Maintenance, Accounting, Administration, Clubhouse, Pools, and Marina.

Vision Statement

The Vision of the Lake of the Woods Association is to be a recreation-oriented, private community of single family,
owner-occupied homes with neighbors working together to promote a friendly, healthy, safe, and aesthetically pleasing community and to provide a high quality of life. We envision a neighborhood that is considered by residents and non-residents alike to be a desirable place in which to live and enjoy the benefits of family, friends, and community.

Mission Statement

The Mission of the Lake of the Woods Association is to enhance the quality of life in the community through effective cost management of the common areas and amenities and to preserve and enhance property values. The Association accomplishes its mission through the development and management of recreational amenities, security services, and the maintenance of Association-owned property.
